Job Tile: Yardman/Material Handler
Location: Great Gransden SG19 - Transport required due to location
Hours of Work and Pay
- Basic 39 Hours per week - 7.30 to 4, 4:30 and 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 12pm finish
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Pay £10-£12 per hour
- Subsidized drinks and snacks available on-site
This is a varied "hands on" role involveing a variety of different roles including, looking after the yard, handling materials and helping the in house maintenance department. You must be able to work within a team, either in the main production area or if applicable on a client's site and be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.
Job Responsibilities
- Keeping the factory yard clean
- Helping the maintenance department
- Packing and picking
- Helping factory and office sections where necessary
- Gardening - grass cutting
- Forklift Operating - Loading & Unloading Materials and Products
Person Specification
- Experience an advantage but qualifications not essential
- Flexibility
- Ability to understand instructions
- Self-motivated and resourceful
