The Company -
Our partners are an operation that supply cutting edge PPE and safety equipment to a wide array of clientele including custom Grating, decking strips, Anti slip stair components and temporary grip matts from their premises on a local industrial estate in Earith, Cambs.
They are presently recruiting for a hybrid employee who will undertake duties of a General Operative and Counterbalance Forklift Driver on a temp to perm basis with the likelihood of a position on the company payroll if the candidate demonstrates capability in the 3 month agency contract
Daily Tasks-
- Cutting componentry to length using straightforward machinery
- Other basic machine operation
- Pick of items assigned to warehouse locations and from Picking manifests
- Packaging of goods in advance of them being sent to job locations
- Loading of transport
- Upkeep of storage area and Yard area
- Occasional lifting of goods moving them around site (up to 25 kg)
- Counterbalance Forklift usage
- Use of company van to transport products to site
- All other sensible requests designated by management
Ideal applicant
- Competent level of fitness
- Good grasp of English Orally and written
- Able to focus and allocate components accurately
- Dependable and punctual person
- Able to work independently once trained
- Comfortable following direction from Supervisor/management
- Forklift certificate would be a plus but isn't mandatory

Hours - 0800 - 1630 Monday-Friday
Rate - £11.50 per hour
