Maintenance Engineer
We are supporting one of the UK's leading FMCG businesses, based in the Spalding area, with the growth of their engineering team. We are looking for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers on the night-shift pattern to join the team after recent investment into their Operation.
As an essential member of the Engineering team you will maintain all production plant equipment and machinery to run at optimum performance & quality efficiency. You will run P.P.M. schedules, CI projects and work requests, respond effectively to all breakdown situations, maintain adequate spares and stock control, record faults & job traceability via reporting process and ensure adequate engineering cover is available when production is running. You will be expected to maintain legislative, safety, hygiene and production standards in accordance with companies values and beliefs.
Job Responsibilities
- Make sure all Engineering stock records are up to date and accurate
- Completing PPM schedules timely and accurately
- Improvement in plant reliability and efficiency by means of CI projects
- Ensure a quick and satisfactory service is provided to our customers
- Full compliance with all appropriate standards and legislation
- Strict adherence to all H&S work policies is maintained at all times
- Ensuring 5s principles are applied
- Creating positive working relationships with the Production and Manufacturing personnel
- Ensure all relevant KPI’s are completed in time and in full
Person Specification
- Experience in the maintenance of FMCG Machinery
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical circuits
- A general understanding of PLC control systems
- Electrical competence in the safe diagnosis and repair of faults within motors, control systems and lighting systems to a high level
- Computer literate (SAP, Microsoft package)
- 18th Edition IEE Regulation qualified
Shifts
- Monday to Thursday 10PM - 6AM
- Fridays 6PM - 12AM
- Every other Sunday 10PM - 6AM
Pay and Benefits
- £52,500 per annum
