Digital Marketing Assistant

We are currently working with an extremely reputable engineering company based in Peterborough who are looking to expand their marketing team. This is a brand-new role to help support the Marketing Manager implement their marketing strategy and their ambitious sales team.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Manager in activating campaigns and implementing strategies
- Support the sales team by preparing promotional presentations
- Manage social media channels with an emphasis on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter
- Create content for the website and social media, including photography, graphics, videos, and blog writing
- Perform market research to pinpoint opportunities based on sales and industry trends
- Help in organising promotional events and both online and offline campaigns
- Analyse marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other data sources to identify areas of enhancement
- Handle administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets, databases, and maintaining statistical information
Person Specification
- Must have a background in marketing
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Proactive and innovative in generating ideas
- Prior experience in social media management
- Comprehensive understanding of marketing principles, including content creation, CMS system utilisation, and sales presentation techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with marketing software and online tools, including CRM, online analytics, and Google Adwords
Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits
- Monday to Thursday - 08:30 to 16:45
- Friday - 08:30 to 15:00
- Flexi time available
- Up to £28,000
- Option to join Company pension scheme after 1 years’ service. (employee 5%, employer 7.5%)
- 29 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
