    Location: Peterborough

    Job Type: Part-Time (20-25 hours)

    Salary: 11 per hour

    Our client is a dynamic and vibrant company that specialises in producing high-quality photobooks and photo gifts. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join the accounts Team as a part-time account’s administrator. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an established professional to work flexible hours while utilising their wealth of accounts knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Ledger:

    • Generate accurate invoices and ensure they are processed promptly.
    • Record customer payments in our financial systems.
    • Handle customer card payments over the telephone.
    • Update our accounting software (Sage) to reflect paid invoices.

    Credit Control:

    • Produce statements and invoice reminders.
    • Monitor and proactively chase aged debtors.

    Purchase Ledger:

    • Match supplier invoices with delivery notes.
    • Verify and input supplier invoices into Sage.
    • Assist in resolving purchase order queries.
    • Reconcile supplier statements and request missing invoices.
    • Prepare BACS payment files for supplier payments.
    • Handle credit card transaction invoices.
    • Record petty cash transactions.

    Royalties and Publisher Compensation:

    • Prepare BACS payment files for semi-annual royalty statements.
    • Prepare BACS payment files for monthly publisher compensation.

    General Duties:

    • Answer telephone queries.
    • Follow database and administrative procedures.
    • Handle other ad hoc tasks as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage experience is a plus).
    • Ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • A commitment to upholding company procedures.
